Examples of these types of companies include energy suppliers, daily and weekly newspaper publishers, waterworks companies, cable companies and large E-tailers. Financial Services' support is modular in structure. Credit management (accounts receivable) in particular is offered as a stand-alone service.

Transaction management covers all of the administrative services that focus on arriving at timely and accurate invoicing and collection activities. Examples of this include customer database management, order management, consumption record system and the management of pricing plans.
